About me

I’ve worked in private practice since 2008 as well as providing counselling services to  the NHS, Hertfordshire County schools, Place2be and Young Concern Trust.

I am an affiliate counsellor with Bupa, AXA, Aviva, Health Assured, Victim Support, Workplace Options, and Care First.

I also undertake work for insurance claims.

I believe the counselling relationship is very special. It provides a space that's yours where you can explore and express your inner thoughts and feelings in confidence and safety. It's a place you can obtain a different perspective and increase your self-awareness. By becoming more aware, you increase your choices, thus providing more opportunity for change.

I understand and value highly the support that counselling provides, particularly at a time when it feels as though you are struggling alone with few options.  Experience of my own journey is what brought me to train as a therapist. I continue to treasure the relationship as one that nurtures and promotes personal growth.
